GTX Corp. announced the confirmation of its initial order from licensee MyAthlete LLC, for its gpVector(TM) module, embedded in the MyAthlete device. Production will begin immediately and the final units of the 1,000 piece order are expected to ship during the latter half of the second quarter of 2008 with additional follow-on orders expected in late 2008 and 2009. As a result of extensive Beta testing done in a cooperative arrangement between the companies, the MyAthlete devices were able to be distributed for use by the general public at last month´s Boston Marathon. The overwhelming response to the product and its ability to broadcast location aware signals to spectators viewing racers in real time on web-enabled mobile devices, such as laptop PCs, PDAs and cell phones, has led to an accelerated demand for the technology.

MyAthlete announces it has successfully tested beta production units from GTX Corp. on the Boston Marathon course. The MyAthlete(TM) GPS platform gives the interested spectator a view of their favorite athlete every step of the way along the arduous marathon course. These first generation beta production units will be available at no charge to a limited group of athletes competing in the Boston Marathon on April 21, 2008.

GTX Corp. has named Jb Bittner Eriksen as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mr. Bittner Eriksen brings over 30 years of experience in the development of consumer electronics to GTX Corp. During the past 15 years he has designed products for companies such as Kodak, Philips, Hewlett-Packard, Ricoh and Sony. Previously, as the President of OpenDisc Systems, he used his mastery of technology, business processes, digital imaging, and customer needs to produce revolutionary OEM components.
